STAGE DIRECTOR DESCRIPTION

   

 Oversee the building of any set pieces needed. Acquire all props needed.

Work with the boat pilots and the director in assigning 2 people to assist with the launching and docking of the boat at each dock. 

Arrange for the lights to be hung and removed from the boat each night.

Arrange for certain cast members to put the flags out each night.

Assign prop delivery and removal to the stage.

Assign set delivery and removal to the stage.

Coordinate moves to the Reif Center.

Be the Emergency Control person in case of inclement weather. The first priority is safety of cast, boat pilots and audience.  Assign staff responsibilities for securing the sound equipment, costumes, props and scenery.
